Offering a small footprint compatible with Cinterion Industrial 3G modules, the Gemalto BGS5 Industrial Wireless M2M Module is the perfect choice for industrial solutions that require processing power and low speeds today and also provide the opportunity to evolve to higher bandwidth in the future.

The ​BGS5 is the smallest module on the market to offer advanced application processing power as well as full Quad-Band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity with GPRS class 12 support.

It is ideal for applications such as track and trace, remote monitoring and control, aftermarket telematics and AMR because it allows the module to collect data, process it via embedded business logic, and then send the results at a scheduled time. By embedding intelligence directly in the module, BGS5 reduces design complexity and improves cost efficiency and edge to enterprise connectivity. ​
