Prysmian BICON Single Way Shoe Cleat 370BA–SL Series (Aluminium-Stainless Steel) is designed and formed with the correct bend radius to match the cable’s expansion curve.
To accommodate the linear expansion of larger cables, installers often space the support positions broadly. Such broad spacing would put very high point loading on the cables which could lead to long-term failure. Prysmian design them to spread this potentially damaging load over a significantly longer length, thus avoiding any potential cable damage.
Prysmian BICON bases the Single Way Shoe Cleat on the 370 series of aluminium 2-bolt cleats, using 316L stainless steel with a rubber lining for the shoes. They design and form the shoes with the correct bend radius to match the cable’s expansion curve.
