Gemalto PXS8 Industrial Plus Wireless Multimode M2M Module delivers seamless connectivity over all GSM, HSPA+ and CDMA global networks offering a smart solution today and in the future. By supporting a variety of technology standards in a single module, PXS8 eliminates the need for multiple solution variants and redundant hardware for worldwide M2M solutions.

Offering the latest M2M technology, Gemalto PXS8 Industrial Plus Wireless Multimode M2M Module is optimised for high bandwidth. This allows speeds up to 14.4 Mbps for downlink and 5.7 Mbps for uplink. Two antenna pads enable diversity support for improved speed under fluctuating 3G conditions and an advanced GPS antenna path to eliminates blanking and improves GPS performance.

A wide range of advanced functions and features makes PXS8 an ideal solution for a variety of M2M applications including ruggedized mobile computing, security solutions and medical equipment. Gemalto’s trademark LGA technology gives our customers the freedom to select the most beneficial soldering paste and it improves heat dissipation and eliminates warpage for improved cost efficiency. Like all Cinterion products, PXS8 comes with full type approval (FTA) and certification from the largest carriers worldwide.
