Elpress Multicrimp System

Elpress Multicrimp System – Punch, Matrix & Splicing Kits for indent crimping is a unique system for Aluminium crimping in the V1300 system. The system is designed for low voltage applications (1 kV) and is adapted for ground-covered cable. The number of punches and matrixes has decreased from the previous 21x (including prerounding) to 3 punches and 3 matrixes for indent crimping of both round and sector-shaped Al conductors in the range 50-240 mm².

Specially designed to facilitate work on sector-shaped cables in distribution networks. Prerounding is no longer needed for sector-shaped conductors. The number of crimps has decreased for 5 conductors, from 2x to 1x crimps, using MultiCrimp (NOTE! the sizes 185 and 240 mm² with P185240D/M require two crimps). For industry and more demanding installations, use Elpress conventional contact crimping systems with indent crimping.

General Information

SYSTEM ELPRESS

System Elpress consists of terminals and tools, designed and tested together to give a certified crimping result. This ensures that users will feel confident when using our systems. It also ensures the achievement of a secure connection through the proper handling of our products.

HYDRAULIC CRIMP SYSTEMS

Elpress hydraulic crimp systems crimp from 10 to 1200 mm². The systems consist of pumps and crimp heads that can be freely combined with complete hand-held tools, where these devices are integrated. Wide range of accessories available for crimping, pre-rounding, cutting etc. Together with the matching terminals, they form  a complete system. Both pumps and hand-held tools have, with a few exceptions, quick feed function that means crimping can begin after a few pump strokes. The systems have a built-in ratchet lock that ensures the completion of the initial crimp and thus, produces results with the best characteristics. Pumps can connect to the different crimp heads providing the option of comfortable work in difficult situations and with maximum flexibility.
