nVent ERICO Cadweld Plus F20 Welding Material is a range of pre-sealed powder welded substances in a disposable moisture-resistant cup. Allows for an expedited, permanent grounding connection of excellent quality. You can easily place each pack of welding material into the mold and safely ignite it with the Cadweld Plus Impulse Exothermic Welding Control Unit to create an irreversible bond. Different volumes and sizes are available, depending on the mold used.

Mixture consists mainly of copper (Cu) oxide and aluminium (Al)
Primarily used in grounding and bonding applications, but not for cast iron or cathode protection applications.

Cadweld Plus utilises the same moulds as the Cadweld Traditional range, but provides the welding material/ metals and starting powder in an enclosed metallic cup. Easier and quicker than “Traditional”, it is ignited with a Remote Control Unit. This enables the operator to be even further away from the ignition.
Complies with all recognised Standards Bodies and is known as the “Number 1” system for exothermic welding. nVent design and manufacture all components of the system in-house, ensuring compatibility across the whole range.
